You can obtain further information about how we assess our legitimate interests against any potential impact on you regarding specific activities by contacting us.

Your legal rights

You have the right to: Request access to your personal data (commonly known as a "data subject access request"). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and check that we are lawfully processing it.

Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected. However, we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.

Request erasure of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us to continue to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing (see below), where we may have processed your information unlawfully or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law. Note, however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for specific legal reasons, which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.

Object to processing your personal data where we rely on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party), and there is something about your particular situation that makes you want to object to processing on this ground as you feel it impacts your fundamental rights and freedoms. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

In some cases, we may demonstrate that we have compelling legitimate grounds to process your information, which override your rights and freedoms.

Request restriction of processing of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of your personal data in the following scenarios: (a) if you want us to establish the data's accuracy; (b) where our use of the data is unlawful, but you do not want us to erase it; (c) where you need us to hold the data even if we no longer require it as you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or (d) you have objected to our use of your data, but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds to use it.

Request the transfer of your personal data to you or a third party. We will provide you, or a third party you have chosen, your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Note that this right only applies to automated information, which you initially provided consent for us to use or where we used the information to perform a contract with you.

Withdraw consent at any time where we are relying on consent to process your personal data.

However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide certain products or services to you. We will advise you if this is the case at the time you withdraw your consent.

This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies on the website contemporaryclassicals.com.

What is a cookie?

As is common practice with almost all professional websites, this site uses cookies, which are tiny files that are downloaded to your computer, to improve your experience. This page describes what information they gather, how we use them, and why we sometimes need to store them. We will also share how you can prevent these cookies from being stored; however, this may downgrade or 'break' certain functionality elements.

For more general information on cookies, please read, e.g.:

https://www.cookieconsent.com/what-are-cookies/.

Usage of cookies by our website

We make very limited and necessary use of cookies and do not record any personal information using them. Our principal uses are as follows:

1. For session status: for example, we use them for monitoring whether you are logged in and (if so) which user you are, and for keeping track of some messages and other data used when you move from one page to the next.

2. To remember your preference or sort of device.

How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for a variety of reasons detailed below. Unfortunately, in most cases, there are no industry standard options for disabling cookies without completely disabling the functionality and features they add to the site.

Disabling Cookies

You can prevent cookies by adjusting the settings on your browser (see your browser Help for how to do this). Be aware that disabling cookies will affect the functionality of the websites that you visit. Disabling cookies will usually result also in disabling certain functionality and features of this site. Therefore, it is recommended that you do not disable cookies.

The Cookies We May Set

● Account related cookies If you create an account with us, we will use cookies to manage the signup process and general administration. These cookies will usually be deleted when you log out; however, in some cases, they may remain afterward to remember your site preferences when logged out.

● Login related cookies We use cookies when you are logged in so that we can remember this fact. This prevents you from having to log in every single time you visit a new page. These cookies are typically removed or cleared when you log out to ensure that you can only access restricted features and areas when logged in. ● Email newsletters related cookies This site offers newsletter or email subscription services, and cookies may be used to remember if you are already registered and whether to show certain notifications which might only be valid to subscribed/unsubscribed users. ● Orders processing related cookies.

This site offers e-commerce or payment facilities, and some cookies are essential to ensure that your order is remembered between pages so that we can process it properly. ● Surveys related cookies From time to time, we offer user surveys and questionnaires to provide you with interesting insights, helpful tools, or to understand our user base more accurately. These surveys may use cookies to remember who has already taken part in a survey or provide accurate results after you change pages. ● Forms related cookies When you submit data through a form such as those found on contact pages or comment forms, cookies may be set to remember your user details for future correspondence.

Third-Party Cookies

In some special cases, we also use cookies provided by third parties. The following section details which third party cookies you might encounter through this site.

● This site uses Google Analytics, which is one of the most widespread and trusted analytics solutions on the web for helping us to understand how you use the site and ways that we can improve your experience. These cookies may track things such as how long you spend on the site and the pages you visit so we can continue to produce engaging content. For more information on Google Analytics cookies, see the official Google Analytics page. ● Third-party analytics are used to track and measure usage of this site so that we can continue to produce engaging content. These cookies may track things such as how long you spend on the site or pages you visit, which helps us to understand how we can improve the site for you. ● From time to time, we test new features and make subtle changes to how the site is delivered.

When we are still testing new features, these cookies may be used to ensure that you receive a consistent experience while on the site whilst ensuring we understand which optimizations our users appreciate the most. ● As we sell products, it's important for us to understand statistics about how many of the visitors to our site make a purchase or payment, and as such, this is the kind of data that these cookies will track. ● The Google AdSense service we use to serve to advertise uses a DoubleClick cookie to serve more relevant ads across the web and limit the number of times a given ad is shown to you. For more information on Google AdSense, see the official Google AdSense privacy FAQ. ● We use adverts to offset the costs of running this site and provide funding for further development. This site's behavioral advertising cookies are designed to ensure that we provide you with the most relevant adverts where possible by anonymously tracking your interests and presenting similar things that may be of interest. ● Several partners advertise or will advertise on our behalf, and affiliate tracking cookies simply allow us to see if our customers have come to the site through one of our partner sites so that we can credit them appropriately and, where applicable, allow our affiliate partners to provide any bonus that they may provide you for making a purchase. ● We also use social media buttons and/or plug-ins on this site that allow you to connect with your social network in various ways. For these to work, the following social media sites, including Facebook,

Instagram, etc., will set cookies through our site which may be used to enhance your profile on their site or contribute to the data they hold for various purposes outlined in their respective privacy policies. ● We sometimes use Google Adwords to display advertisements (although we are not doing so at the time of writing). Google Adwords uses cookies in several ways: you can find out more on this link: https://policies.google.com/technologies/types?hl=en-US. ● We may use various social media plug-ins on the site from Facebook, Twitter, Google, and others, which are clearly branded with the social media providers' logos. If you are concerned about how these companies use cookies, we suggest that you either look up their cookie policies or simply refrain from using those plug-ins.

DONATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

contemporaryclassicals.com

Contemporaryclassicals.com ("Website") would like to provide an opportunity for any natural and legal persons to donate in order to maintain and improve the Website and thereby help our mission to promote modern and contemporary classical music.

In this document, "us", "we", or "our" refers to the operator of contemporaryclassicals.com (for details see Terms and Conditions).

In this document, "donor", “donors", “you", or “your” refers to the donor or the natural or legal person who/which intends to donate.

The donation

Donations will be used by us to support the Website's technical and editorial operations.

The donation is provided to us as an irrevocable gift.

These Donation Terms and Conditions apply separately to every single donation that you make. These Donation Terms and Conditions do not form a contract or agreement allowing, e.g. for future or successive transactions to be set up. By confirming on the Website that you wish to donate, you agree to be bound by these Donation Terms and Conditions for that donation.

We will use your donation at our discretion but within our stated objectives.

All payments are to be made by payment card or via PayPal.

If you pay by card, or Paypal, by confirming that you wish to proceed with your donation, you authorize our payment service provider to request funds from your credit, debit card or Paypal provider.

Conditions

According to their own personal law, natural person donors must be aged 18 or the age of majority or older. Legal persons should be eligible for donation.

From the moment the donation is processed, we will be legally and beneficially entitled to the full amount of the donation credited on our bank or another account, and the donor has no entitlement to the return of the donation, partly or wholly, in any circumstances.

The costs related to the donation are to be borne by the donor, especially in certain card payments or bank transfers.

The donor shall receive no benefit (e.g., advertisement) in return for any donation and shall have no rights to influence the editorial policy or output of the Website.

Donations are not charitable donations, so donors shall not be entitled to any tax relief in respect of their donation, nor are any donations eligible for "gift aid" in any jurisdiction worldwide.

We reserve the right to refuse and return any donation in our absolute discretion, including without limitation where we believe that accepting the donation would conflict with our mission, values, or interests, or where, having regard to the source of the donation or intentions of the donor, we consider that to accept the donation could damage our independence or reputation.

Any refused donations shall be repaid in the amount after deduction of all costs and expenses into the account from which the donation was made.

We reserve the right to: ● request the full name, nationality, and details of the donor, ● Request from the donor any other information that we consider to be necessary or desirable to determine the donation's provenance, ● undertake any further investigations it deems fit to determine the provenance of the donation.

If the donor refuses to provide any information requested by us, we may refuse and return the donation to the donor at our discretion.

Unauthorized card or account use

If you become aware of your Paypal or other account’s or card's fraudulent use, or if your card is lost or stolen, you must notify your service provider.

Information from you

In some special cases, when the donation is not made through the Website, we only might process a donation if you provide us - depending on the method of the donation - with (i) your name, address, and email address, etc., and (ii) details of the credit or debit card that you wish to use to fund the donation.

We only will use this information to process your donation. It is your responsibility to ensure you have provided us with the correct information. When you submit your payment details, these details might be transferred to our payment provider, and your payment data will be collected and processed by it.

We won't share your personal details with any other third party other than as set out in this Policy or our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Donation Payment Terms and Conditions.

By agreeing to these Donation Terms and Conditions, you agree to how we use and protect your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

Confidentiality and publicity

Donors shall not be entitled to publicize their donation or otherwise market themselves or any connected person or business connected with their donation, except with our prior written consent and then only if the donor complies with our relevant policies, procedures, or requirements.

Exclusion of liability

Neither we nor any affiliated person, employee, agent, officer, or director shall be liable for any loss suffered by any donor or other person arising out of or in connection with a donation, whether direct or indirect, including loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business or anticipated savings, loss of use, loss of goodwill, loss of data, and whether caused by tort (including negligence), or otherwise, except in respect of any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Miscellaneous

Our failure to assert a right or provision under these Donation Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that right or rights or provisions.

If any provision of these Donation Terms and Conditions is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions will continue in full force and effect.

If you have any questions, please contact us before the donation by email at

donation@contemporaryclassicals.com.

We reserve the right to amend these Donation Terms and Conditions at any time in our sole discretion.

Any obligations arising out of or in connection with the donation will be governed by Hungarian law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hungary.

These Donation Terms and Conditions are effective from 18 September 2020.

We reserve the right to amend this Donation Policy at any time in our sole discretion.
